Eva Jospin

For over 10 years, artist Eva Jospin has been composing forest and mineral landscapes exclusively from cardboard. The sobriety of the initial material and the monumental presence of the sculptures contrast with the extremely meticulous and detailed nature of the cut-outs imitating the details of natural landscapes with perfection. She has been invited to occupy the rooms of the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature in the fall of 2021.

Cardboard landscapes

The artist, whose work is being exhibited until March 20, 2022, at the Paris Museum of Hunting and Nature, reproduces forms that history has endlessly discarded and returned to. By imitating nature in order to draw closer to it, she evokes myths both ancient and contemporary. Between rebirth and abandonment, immerse yourself in her cardboard gardens.
