Véronique Mure

For 30 years, Véronique Mure has been defending the heritage value of Mediterranean gardens and landscapes through the history of the plants that compose them. A large part of her professional career has been spent in the public domain, for the Pont du Gard site, for the Occitanie Region, or the Nîmes-Métropole agglomeration community, where she has worked, among other things, to preserve and enhance the landscapes that make up the identity of these territories.

Root gardening

To understand the living, you need to understand the invisible. This is what Véronique Mure, a botanist specializing in Mediterranean landscapes, is convinced of. By focusing on the relationship that people have with plants, she raises awareness on the importance of soil and roots and invites us to take care of them, like gardeners.
