Aubervilliers
A city-scale and metropolitan ecosystem
Our architectural project for the rehabilitation of the Fragrance site creates a creative dialogue between architectures from different eras to enhance the cultural and historical heritage of Aubervilliers. Our approach favors sobriety of means and form, guaranteeing greater mutability; it promotes a new place for nature through the multiplication of its vegetated spaces; it develops an intense offer of services to make the space lively and animated.

Programming an urban incubator
Our architectural project for the redevelopment of the Fragrance site creates a creative dialogue between architectures from different eras to enhance the cultural and historical heritage of Aubervilliers. After decades of industrial development, the Fragrance site will embody the economic transformation of the area, as well as new paradigms in terms of sustainable development and green transition. The heritage complex, which bears witness to the grandeur of industrial architecture, will be carefully restored to its former glory, but will also be largely reinvented. We see in it the beginnings of a mixed, sustainable and inclusive campus, intimately rooted in this neighborhood in the throes of redevelopment, whose mix, life and dynamism it aims to reinforce. Fragrance will take on a manifest dimension on the scale of the city and the metropolis by reactivating its environment. Through its rich programming, it will restore local balances and help create a viable ecosystem for activities.
Our approach to the Fragrance project favors sobriety of means and form, a guarantee of greater mutability; it promotes a new place for nature through the multiplication of its vegetated spaces; it develops an intense offer of services to make the space lively and animated. Restaurants, associations, a natural wellness area on the roof and much more to come… We are convinced that such a project must be able to evolve, to accompany change and the dynamics of the area. It will therefore be accompanied by a rich work of prefiguration that will enable this space to become an essential cog in the urban, economic and social development of Aubervilliers.
