Pablo Valbuena

Pablo Valbuena's practice and research revolve around space, time and perception. Among the recurring subjects of his explorations are the superimposition of reality and virtuality, the mental spaces of the spectator, the porosity of the boundaries between reality and perception, the links between space and time, the spectator's experience and its effect on the work, and the use of light and sound. Pablo Valbuena, is the creator of the work "Modulations" imagined for the Stream Building.

Representing modularity

Pablo Valbuena is a visual artist. He creates rhythmic light installations to represent time and movement, altering our perceptions of space. His “illusions” distort reality and reveal imperceptible information. We collaborated together on the creation of the Modulation artwork, a series of luminous combinations evoking modularity.
